Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 2005, Abigail Percy has been running her business in the fashionable West End of Glasgow [Scotland]. In 2010, she moved her workshop to Belfast [Northern Ireland] where she continues to practice jewellery alongside designing for her homewares company, abigail*ryan, which she co-runs with her partner Ryan Bell of DesireLines.
All Abigail's jewellery is entirely made by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques with particular emphasis on intricate piercing. Her work is organic in style with a vintage twist - contemporary silhouettes with softly antiqued finishes and styling. Aways working with leaf and flower forms - she creates feminine, enduring items of jewellery.
In addition to exhibiting in galleries, Abigail sells her work directly through the online branch of her business.
Abigail also writes a design blog documenting her inspirations, daily musings and sharing scenes from the workshop.
